3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment - Welcome Address

3rd Ranger Battalion

The 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment is a "Military Realism Unit." This means we use a rank system and structure which is close to how a real Army unit operates, we use tactics and strategies that are used by Army units, and we operate like a real Army unit would. However, we don't allow the soldiers' "ranks" to go to their head. Instead, we use our structure to provide a well-run and organized unit. We play the game, but our leaders also run training, operations, courses, and various schools. Some of our soldiers are former or current military, but many aren't as well. Our soldiers are all a minimum age of 16. To be a ranger in this unit, you must be at least 16 years of age to qualify as an enlisted soldier and 18 to qualify as an officer (Must complete the Officer Leaders Course).

While our soldiers do play various games, our foundation is based in ARMAII, utilizing custom missions and addons. As a Military Realism unit we do hold drills and operations as well as regular public realism scenarios.

If you think you have what it takes to become a ranger in the 3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, please visit our forums and read the information that pertains to enlistment in the "Enlistment Information" forum. The information contained there will allow you to evaluate whether you wish to be apart of this fine unit or if you would just like to continue playing with us as a civilian. If you have what it takes, submit your enlistment papers as soon as possible!

Sincerely,
3rd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment

Veterans Day - November 11, 2011
3rd Ranger Battalion

This Veteran's Day, we honor those who have so bravely served this country. America is founded on the principle of freedom, justice, and liberty for all. Our nation's soldiers serve every day to protect our country and its ideals. On Veteran's Day, take a sacred moment to remember the those who sacrifice their lives every moment to achieve peace and democracy.

Soldiers, today is a day that honors thousands of service men and women for their service to our country. If you know a veteran, today is the day that you thank him or her for their service and shack their hand. A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.

If you see any of these Veterans today or even this week. Be sure to thank them!

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
